Hard Rock Hell 6 – Ace Frehley Confirmed as First Bands Announced!

Original Spaceman vows to give HRH a hell like no other this December

After last years unfortunate incident, which led to a late cancellation, Ace Frehley has vowed to return with a vengeance and deliver that killer 90 minute set he promised of the 78 solo album plus all the classics. It’s been a while since Ace graced the shores and with a set that should knock down the very foundations of HRH, we could hardly say no.

This years theme is on the spaghetti western grain and we have promised a Southern stage aptly branded Southern Heaven on the Friday night. Leading the charge we have a UK exclusive from the legendary Blackfoot, who are currently writing a new album, the first in 18 years with Ricky Medlocke who is also producing the band. Joining Blackfoot, will be the classic southern sound of Skinny Molly, established and led by Skynnrd n Hatchet veterans..check out the sound, we friggin love it and it does exactly what we want it to do on this legendary night.

After last years late entry, we welcome back the Dogs D’Amour for a much requested Main stage Saturday Read more…

Ian Anderson ‘Thick As A Brick’ 40th Anniversary tour update and ‘Thick As A Brick 2’

Ian Anderson will hit the road in April 2012 for a 19 date UK tour commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Jethro Tull’s 1972 Billboard No. 1 ‘Thick As A Brick’; it can now be revealed that, to coincide with the release of the groundbreaking album sequel ‘Thick As A Brick 2’ on 2nd April, there will be a second part to the show where Anderson and the band will also perform the new material.

‘Thick as a Brick’ was a concept album based on a poem written by a fictitious 10 year old boy Gerald Bostock – in reality Anderson himself, who wrote both music and lyrics. The anniversary “part two” album will examine the possible different paths that the precocious young schoolboy might have taken later in life through alter-ego characters with song-section identities illustrating the hugely varied potential twists and turns of fate and opportunity

Total Biker FM DJ Mucka Jay will be chatting shortly to Ian and also reviewing the new album with track live on Total Biker FM. Look out for the announcement soon. Read more…
