The Superbike World Championship 2011 Official Review To Be released on 2-disc DVD

The 2011 FIM Superbike World Championship produced fireworks and breathtaking action all season. Now fans can relive the vital highlights from every race in the Official Review, new on 2-disc DVD from Duke.

All the vital passes, crashes, triumphs and disasters are featured on two drama-filled discs, with the very best race footage and interviews with leading riders ensuring viewers don’t miss a moment of the headline-making title battle. The Official Review features all 26 races from the 13-round series as veteran racer Carlos Checa defies his critics to take a dominant World Championship win on board his seemingly unstoppable Althea Ducati. The Spanish star won more than half the races, but that isn’t the full story – his victories only came after elbow-to-elbow battles with the likes of former MotoGP rider Marco Melandri and reigning Superbike World Champion Max Biaggi.

The ever-competitive Superbike World Championship produced six different winners in 2011, on five different makes of motorcycle, and the Official Review has the story of each victory. There’s Jonathan Rea’s remarkable return from injury, Melandri’s unbelievable debut season, Biaggi’s hardships and maiden wins for Eugene Laverty and Tom Sykes, who brought Kawasaki its first victory for 5 years. Plus, this was the final season for two of the sport’s biggest stars as James Toseland and Troy Corser retired from racing. It was a history-making season for the FIM Superbike World Championship, and this is the comprehensive story of a year of exceptional racing. The Supersport World Championship 2011 Official Review, featuring comprehensive highlights of the season Chaz Davies became World Champion, is also scheduled for release on DVD from Duke.

Superbike World Championship 2011 Review is available from 19 December 2011 on DVD, priced at £24.99. Visit www.DukeVideo.com online.
